Junetta L. Williams (She/Her)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. I serve as a private practitioner remotely for the entire state. Services are provided to Children, Adolescents, and Adults. I strive to destigmatize topics surrounding Mental Health while focusing on healing with healthy approaches and coping skills.  

I am a collaborative, client-centered, and solution-focused African-American Counselor who uses modalities that are tailored specifically to my client. Through this approach, I provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I also integrate techniques and helpful assignments to offer a highly personalized program tailored to you. With compassion and understanding, I work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to achieving while using transparency.

Education
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling with a focus in Mental Health and Human Resource Development. Both were obtained at Webster University. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the then Voorhees College in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Sociology. 

Certifications, Additional Training & Awards

I am a certified Multidimensional Family Therapist (MDFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT), and CAMS Trained. 

Professional Activities and Memberships

I am a member of the Clinicians of Color, National Certified Counseling Association, and Girl Scout Troop Leader. 

In my spare time, I enjoy community service activities, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and learning new ways to help my clients be successful.
